Alright, people, here are my levels. :)

Pack #1

Those are my first two published levels.

Since I can't make a working .goomod file, you will have to manually set it up in your WoG directory and load it with WOGEditor to play it. If you want to make a .goomod file to help me (and others) out, then feel free to try.

Also, since the level was drawn by myself, it doesn't look so good, so I don't mind if someone out there wants to make a better-looking image for the level, as long as the shapes and sizes are respected. You can find the images in the respective directories.

The OCD isn't determined for the levels, just try to get the most goos you can! For level 2, try to do it with the fewest moves or time (if you have the patience to count these).

Level Descriptions:

PixelCorner

Name: Pixel Getaway
Don't get bit-ten!
Goal: 10 goos
OCD: ?

Description: This is the first level. In it, you need to make skillful use of the Bone, Pokey (which can sleep with its eyes open :P) and Ivy goo.

Name:
Beauty Calamity
The gray isn't enough!
Description: Beauty manipulation included! This is the first custom level with a Beauty goo published as far as I know.

how do i play it

They look neat! Too bad I just have the Wii version. One of these days I oughta get a copy for my mac.

Yeah, you should. That (playing levels) was the one reason I didn't want the Wii version.

Christopher:

1) Download the file
2) Extract it in WorldOfGoo/res/levels/
3) Open WOGEditor (download if you don't have it yet)
4) Point it to the directory with the newly extracted files
5) Open the levels (PixelCorner and PixelPrison), and select the play button.

PIxel corner has no background so i have no idea what the map is like.

What do you think of the other level, though?

Both levels i thought were pretty cool. The first one i played was easy. The second i liked except that i had to carry black balls over at the end. There is probably a way to do it so that you don't have to carry them but I found that annoying. Other than that I liked the second one (with the background now uplaoded) a lot and the other one was good.

For the second one (surely PixelCorner), you don't have to carry them all over one by one. You just need to use the whistle to get them to the other side of the structure before taking it down. That way, you have less goos (maybe none) to carry.

I like the ideas and level layouts for your maps, GooGun, but if I had just one little criticism it would be that they could be a bit prettier! Somehow the smooth rounded goos just don't fit in with the jagged pixelated MS Paint landscapes, sorry!  :-\

Tair: I have to admit, I have rather limited art skills, so that's the result. Right now, I have no other 'free' tools to use than MS Paint...

Agreed and seconded.

I've got a new pack that will come out very soon! It's basically roaming around desktops to refill GIMP's paint supply. :P

And there will be a guest cameo. Not telling who it will be, though. >=D

On the subject of GIMP, it's good, but I can't seem to find rectangle and circle tools... Nevermind, found them!

As for the cameo, it's not MOM... but that could be a good idea for a future level.

Well, that cameo character will play an important role as an obstacle in that level.

And it's finally out! Computer Craziness is now out! 3 levels of computer madness + 1 extra level!

Your levels of computer craziness don't work on a mac the background comes out all glitchy  :(

Downloaded the 3rd compilation. Through the gears, great idea. :-* Got down to 26 moves. Ascension mission 24 goos collected. Weegeeabode 10 goos collected, two tasks all goos collected but not within 2 mins.

Please convert previous compilations 1 & 2 into goomod format so I can try them too. :)

Hi there,

I just tested the two first packs. Nothing to report you don't already know, except one thing i'm surprised nobody mentionned. In the "Sunny Ledge" level, it happens quite often that some asleep Goos on the right plate just fall off the cliff (sometimes on the left, but more often to the right), often as soon as the level starts (and sometimes later, when your Goos are close enough to wake them) ! Seems to me the plate should be a bit larger (to the right) or some kind of elevation should be added on both sides to prevent the fall...

Nice levels otherwise, i still haven't figured out how to pass the wheel in Flooded Grotto :)

Well don't ask me, I didn't make them. This thread has been inactive for long time so i doubt he will hear the problem and fix it. ;)
