right now, it's unplayable. most of the image resources point to nonexistant images and directories.

Re: New Level - AirBridgeSoultaker01/06/2009 - 12:29

You should really distribute new levels in davidc's GooTool add-in format; it makes installing and playing levels much easier, plus it allows Mac users to play your level too!

For more info, see: http://goofans.com/gootool/faqdev

This time, I repackaged your level for you (please let me know if that's not OK): AirBridge-1.0.goomod

Re: New Level - AirBridgeGooSeiler01/13/2009 - 15:34

ok, i remade my first level and wanted to convert it in a .goomod file
i copy/paste the file structure like Soultaker has done it for me
and i changed the addin.xml
so it looks like that

Quote:

<addin spec-version="1.0">

  <type>level</type>
  <version>1.0</version>

AirBridge2

  <level>
    <dir>AirBridge2</dir>

    <ocd>balls,12</ocd>
  </level>
</addin>

i zip all of it and renamed it to .goomod

but gootool seems to not find my manifest file
please,could you help me ?

i dont know where my fault is

Re: New Level - AirBridgedavidc01/15/2009 - 05:48

If GooTool complains about a missing manifest file, the most likely thing is that "addin.xml" etc are not in the top-level directory of the zip file.

For example, if your unzipped mod was in a directory "mymod", and you right clicked on that and "add to archive", you will actually end up with all the files inside a "mymod" directory inside the zip.

The solution is to go into the "mymod" directory, select all the files, and *then* right click and "add to archive".

Hope that helps.
