Every time I purchase a game with a level editor, i try (and fail) to use the level editor. After completing World of Goo, I decided that if i was going use any level editor, it would be this one. But alas, I have absolutely no idea what i'm doing. If someone could guide me through the basics i'd be very happy. Oh, and if i actually get a reply or two, we could start this into a bit of a database for helping the n00bs. ;D Any advice is appreciated! ME!!!

At the top right, there is a search engine. I wanted to know why not work the buttons added to the level and the caption "using 200 balls in 300"

The links are dead. So if the following question is stupid, it's not my fault. When I downloaded the World of Goo editor (The link was provided by somebody here) it opened up to nothing more than a black box that I could type stuff in. It certainly didn't look like that. Explain?

That tutorial in the second link is not very good. I managed to build a level that should work based on the tutorial. However, it does not explain how to actually play the level.

You must patch World of Goo to v1.30 before the WoG editor play button will work. I didn't even know the game had been patched until found the answer to the editor problem.
