My guess is that the installer is trying to install an older version of Java, which it's not longer able to do. I know somebody hosted a download for gootool on google drive somewhere, so if you can find that maybe it'd work.

That's a google drive link for a goomod, not gootool.

As for your second question, goomods are just .zip files, but with a different extension. What gootool does is it adds the contents of those .zip files to a copy of your World of Goo, which is how it installs mods.
In other words, you can't just get another application to run a goomod, you'd have to manually copy the files to the game. Ironically this would actually be pretty easy with the EPIC world of goo, since all of its assets aren't encrypted.

Okay turns out somebody uploaded gootool via a discord link. Try downloading this.

I've no idea when somebody's going to make a more functional gootool, but it'd be pretty cool if it happened.

Is there any way to install goomods on the cracked version asking fore my friend

Considering gootool doesn't work with the demo, I'm going to guess that it might not worked with the cracked version. Test it though, maybe it does. I honestly have no idea.
