Certain badges may appear next to someone's forum posts and on their user profile page. They are awarded automatically when the relevant requirements are met. The meanings are:

I think you should add more badges for OCD like for all OCD in Chap. 1, same for Chap. 2-5. And when someone gets all of the OCDs replace those badges with the Serious OCD badge. Also add more "highest __ score on the leaderboards" like what you did with the architect badges (like master speed demon, ameteur speed demon, junior speed demon basically the same system as used with the tower badges)

You want more achievments? Get the Steam version of World of Goo. Steam as acheivments for OCD's on the chapters and other stuff.

Then why don't you set goals for yourself? You can write a goal like "Hey, I bet I can collect 30 balls in Drool" or "I think I could OCD all of chapter 1 in one hour!". It would really give you something to look forward to.

To fix that, you guys could make another section in the account edit screen where people could choose which badges that they have to show in the forums or comments. On their profile all of their badges are shown though. The limit for badges in comments should be 3.
P.S. James, I basically did that OCD in one hour thing (or at least it would be quite easy) for island 2. OCDs are at their easiest there.

Cheating is BAD.
If you do something bad to a original level, or mess with your profile, you can get the badge.
Avoid cheating. It takes your other badges away. (most of them, anyhow)

Well, you can edit your profile for some things, but DON'T change any of the numbers after the level names. That's what IS cheating.

It seems like the Too Much Free Time badge is unfair. Users on Macs get time on their profile while using WooGLE, but not on Windows or Linux! It doesn't seem like much, but I'd have the badge now if WooGLE testing counted.

Look at the WooGLE version.txt. Save and play adds an island1 button and launches WoG, because there isn't the 'command-line' launch. Since it is using a profile, it adds time just like playing the modded version does.

There is only one goo fan (inwog) who made more than 50 levels. There is no features to calculating number of created levels. One addin can contain more than 1 level (like Experimental Level Project, Official Metal Levels etc.) but the Site doesn't tells about it.
And there should be special badge: "GooFans Expert", for people like Daft as Brush (DaB has too much badges, but...). Expert badge should be added by contributors.
I think we should delete pointless "Too Much Free Time" badge and enable "commin soon" badges.

why not 'sub moderators', sub moderators could be people like: James, MOM4Evr, inwog, Goosweek, Albino Pokey and me, Tacomann13
because we're all good at making various things i.e.inwog is good at making levels

About finding out how many levels are in the addin, couldn't you just reuse the script to get the version number and add

The point is that the code to parse the manifest already exists, that's why the version number that it puts in for you is ALWAYS right.

Just wondering if the "junior architect" badge is working correctly...
VirtualParadise is (currently) the 50th tallest tower, at 38.85m tall. Jamerz's tallest tower is at 39.93m, and he doesn't have the "junior architect" badge. Soultaker, however, does, at 38.93m. I was just wondering why this was...
Also, are the "coming soon" badges going to be someone who has matched the record, or the ONLY person on the leaderboard who has that record? For example, would I get the "savior" badge for collecting all 92 balls in Welcoming Unit, even though quite a few other people have as well?

As for the tower badges not updating... Jamerz has all his profiles hidden except the last one witch is 33.71m (This is a leaderboard problem with I talked about with davidc, guess he for got to fox it. Leaderboards show top records even if the profile that contains them is hidden )
As for savior badge... I don't know, It needs more work... I don't like if everyone would now got saviur badge if they save 7 goos on Going up...

Maybe a user preference to turn it on or off (like the email notifiers), so non-logged-in-people will just see the green or red, users with the setting disabled see a static Goo Ball, and people who turn it on will see the gifs?

They shouldn't be about one level, but about all of (original) levels.

Strategist - when the sum of least moves is smaller than (?)
Speed demon - when the sum of least times is smaller than (?)
