Wii and multi player or cooperative

After turning the whole family on to WOG and discovering this forum,We are trying to figure out the multi player or cooperative mode for our Wii. the mode is confirmed on this web-site's comparative features list, as existing, but I'm still trying to find it!
any and all help appreciated...."goopa goopa goo...."
I thought it should work automatically when you use a second controller?
you my fine friend are right on the money!! fired up the other controllers and presto! gonna go check it out now.
