I know there are some pngs in the fonts folder that contain the fonts for world of goo, but couldn't there be a way of compiling proper fonts?
you wouldn't have to drag and drop all the letters if u are making something like for the billboard contest
anyone have ideas or a good font compiler?
The fonts are "Earth's Mightiest Bold" and "Tw Cen MT Condensed Extra Bold", both of which you can get here: http://2dboy.com/MATERIALS/art/fonts/
If you're using Photoshop, you can create the outline using "outer glow" sharp on the layer.
In other programs like Paint Shop Pro (which I use) you can just duplicate the text, put it behind the other, adjust the colour, and make the outline width wider. The foreground text should have fill only, no outline.
