I want to decrypt pers2.dat, from winXP, and encrypt onto OSX 10.5.6. Any technical help anyone can give me would be wonderful, as I am a GooTool newb.

Using GooTool version 0.10 or later, from the Advanced menu, choose Decrypt>bin file (PC/Linux). Select your pers2.dat, which you can find here: http://goofans.com/dev/fileformats/profile
Save it somewhere. Take that file and then from the Advanced menu, choose Encrypt>bin file (Mac). Take that file and put it in your ~/Library/Application Support/WorldOfGoo on the Mac.

After installing and running GooTool, I realised what a choad I was for asking. The process was so incredibly easy to understand, and perform - that I was running my completely unlocked WoG in no time. Next time I will try the software before asking stupid questions - thanks for the reply tho!
You can now use GooTool to backup your profile to this website, and then restore it to another machine - PC/Mac/Linux. Let me know how well that works out.
