Almost one year after its first release, I'm happy to announce GooTool version 1.0.0 today. This update contains numerous fixes and new features and is recommended for everyone. Get it here.
Of particular interest, you can now rate addins and check for updated versions from within GooTool. It now takes just two clicks to bring all your addins up to date (Authors take note: it is now even more vital that the ID and version fields in addin.xml are correct).
Other improvements: You can now change the refresh rate within GooTool. It's now compatible with the Big Fish and various Linux versions of the game. Users who already have Maks' volume control installed will no longer get errors. Various interface improvements have been made. A diagnostic report has been added to the Help menu that you can send me if you have problems with the tool. GooTool is now more tolerant to misbehaved addins that include files such as "Thumbs.db". And there's been number of behind-the-scenes updates to support forthcoming features.
Read on for the full changelog:

98% of the teen population believes those "98% of ... if you are one of the 2% who don't copy this into your sig" sigs. copy and paste this into your sig if you are one of the 2% who don't believe them.

Sweet! Great ideas! How can the authors specify thumbnail images for addins, though?

MOM4Evr: It's part of the goomod version 1.1 which isn't finished yet, so I disabled it for this release. Hopefully all the features will be done soon so I can enable it in the next version: http://goofans.com/forum/world-of-goo/modding/408

Goooo-d.
I couldn't have used GooTool because of linux file name changes (from .bin to .bin32/.bin64).
I hope it will run smoothly.
