Hello all,

I can't figure out how to convert my PC save to a Mac save. I know it has something to do with the encrypting/decrypting, but it asks for a BIN file, which I don't have. Can someone do a quick run-through, please?

1. Select "Decrypt .bin file (PC/Linux)" and just pick your pers2.dat instead of a bin file
2. Save the file to some dir
3. Select "Encrypt .bin file (Mac)" and pick the newly created pers2.dat.xml
4. Save the file to some dir and you're done

As I don't have a Mac the second part is a mere guess, but I don't see why it shouldn't work.

A note to davidc: Shouldn't "PC/Linux" be renamed to "Windows/Linux" or "Win/Linux"? At least for WoG, every Linux installation is very likely to run on a PC, just Macs aren't necessarily IBM-compatible PCs...

The easiest way to do this is to go to the Options tab, login, go back to the profile tab and backup your profile. Then do the same thing on the other machine, only this time restore the backup.

thB yeah I'll rename it to Windows.
