Download and extract the file "How to make a goomod level" at http://goofans.com/download/sample/how-make-goomod-level and follow the directions inside. It's simple with this.

OK. Now you have to donwload samplegoo.zip from http://goofans.com/download/sample/how-make-goomod-level#tabs Unpack that any you have three folders and addin.xml file.

Read here about addin.xml file http://goofans.com/developers/addin-file-format/manifest-file and do that for your level.

In compile folder put in your level with folder path, example: compile\res\levels\jorislevel\jorislevel.level.xml and joris.resrc.xml and joris.scene.xml

In override folder put your new images and old images that you have used in your level.
example: override\res\images\image1.png or res\level\goingup\image2.png

In merge folder put your .xml that you need to merge with the game. Example for that is your Sign Painter, the string that he uses. example: merge\properties\text.xml.xsl

in text.xml.xsl you put your new sign painter strings.

OK, now you have these three full folders and your addin.xml, now select the all with your left click mouse, now right click/add to arhive or zip what do you have. Now You have your level "jorislevel.zip". If you can't see .zip go to folder options and enable see files extensions. Now right clicl on your level "jorislevel.zip" and rename it to "jorislevel.goomod" and that is it.
