can't run WOG after 3 sessions

Help. I can't run the game after playing 2 or 3 times. I installed it from a CD, and didn't immediately register it. Now it won't run, and I even tried reinstalling it, but it won't even install it. I installed the patch, but that doesn't help.
Maybe one of your files is corrupted?
Check WorldOfGoo/properties/config.txt, then if that doesn't work just delete the whole WorldOfGoo folder before reinstalling. It would be easier than running through to find the broken files.
