Finished with a miserable 4 goos. (10+ possible). The pipe needs to be more visible, could not see it until activated. Directional arrow seemed to be missing in pipe region.

Really? I got 104 goos, lost 3 goos accidentally, so 107 is max for me

Hmmm? You might want to check those numbers... since there are 112 Goos in the level and 11 are balloons!
I've got 92 - lost 2, missed 1 and messed up right at the end so couldn't collect the final 2...
I reckon max is 97!
Unless you get v. lucky and right hand structure is "free" too!

Yeah, you right my bad.
I was trying to say I got every goo except 3 goos that I lost while kicking the flying structure.
Original story is that I got all the goos on the structure and at the moment the pipe started to suck the structure hit the detaching side and everything exploded.
So I used the editor to count how many goos are in the level but I forgot about the balloons

Got 12 balls. I destroyed my bridge, and fly with small construction to the pipe, but after collection of 12 balls, balloons lifted construction outside level
When I was trying normal way (bridge building) I have not enough balls...

There are too much dark places! I think you should change pipe to nromal.

I got 13 by building all the way across. Using the Easter Egg to save on goo.
Flying is the only way to get big total.

Pipe is 1. Too hard to see. 2. Too close to top of level.
I got a single goo with balloon attached to pipe. All to no avail, I could not select the balloon to detach it! Poor layout, please rework.

I flew to the first "island" and built a bridge from this point.

Say, has anybody found the "Easter Egg" yet? It was there since version 1, and is supposed to make travel on the final mountain a bit easier.
