This is the most disturbing bug of goofans. When I request an addin be published, no moderators check it. After 2 days, it is indicated that I have requested it to be pub lished but when I clicked the "request addin be published", it doesn't say that I have already requested. It says that I have requested it just now and it will be published in a day or two and I keep requesting it and the same thing happens.

Hello,

As the only moderator currently checking the queue and publishing addins (as I have been for quite some time now), apologies for the delays. In the case of your current addin in the queue, it's a chapter, and chapters take quite a long time to go over. I have to check each and every level, and I have to check them in order because of dependencies, and I have a real life, too, so it's difficult sometimes to find the time.

But you're right; I am taking far too long to approve addins, and for this I apologize.

As I suspected. You didn't understand what I'm trying to say. It's a bug of the website itself. If you removed an add in from the queue, shouldn't it say "request add in he published" only? It's been happening to my other addins lately. If you Haven' t check the requested addins for too long, will it be removed from the queue automatically? It's not about the moderators, it's about the website itself.

Ah, I see what you're saying.

When you request an addin to be published, it kicks out an email to all moderators and places it in the package moderation queue. Requesting it again has no net effect (Hence the message you get). Addins are only removed from the queue if a moderator specifically rejects them. After a set number of days, requesting the addin to be published again sends out another email (Hence no error message). That's all that's happening.

In general, you only need to request for an addin to be published once. We'll see it and get to it, even though we might be slow about it. Wink
