I think I might have solved it, it works now I am guessing i needed steam running or something

I don't have the steam version, but it's possible. Check the FAQ if you have doubts.

also not 100% sure but my conclusion to the error is that it comes up when u are not running steam.

Maybe you could code in a check to see if steam is running or make the error message say you are not running steam something like that.

Oh, sorry for not realizing this. I have Windows 7 and (I don't have steam, but this might work) GooTool woudn't work unless I gave it Admin privileges. (Right click > Properties > Compatibility > Run as Administrator)

That was the first thing I thought Enchanted was it needed Admin privileges, tried that before a posted on the forum, It was the same error. Thanks for trying man.

I'm just happy it's working, just need to be running steam which is no problem.

Even better... Apply the patch directly from the WoG website. Then you don't need to run Steam. However, you won't be able to update achievements Sad
