How do I change the boundaries?

I assume you are talking about boundaries of your level, not the editor?

You assume correct. I have already watched the videos and viewed the wiki, nothing is mentioned. Isn`t there a way to edit it in the editor?

Yes, of course. You can tell from the info on the pages I linked, but here's how you do it:
Go to the Scene tab in the editor and select the topmost element. Boundaries are set by the attributes minx, miny, maxx and maxy.

weird, I changed that and it still says my exit is outside the boundaries.

wow, found my problem, the program has the x and y values swapped.

Err... no it doesn't!

the program was telling me the x value was the y value and vice versa, after swapping them in the editor, it worked perfect.
