how do i remove a mod that somehow remained after i uninstalled it?

i installed a mod that makes all the signs look like chapter 4 signs about 2 years ago, but for some reason its stuck there even though it isnt in gootool :/
Delete the custom World of Goo folder that GooTool points to, and rebuild.
If it remains after that, that means you messed up your original installation, so you'll want to reinstall World of Goo.
