i downloaded world of goo on steam and then i tried level editor and gooball editor but when i trie to go to it it says that i cant do it. what do i do.

Could you be more specific as to the error? And what program are you referring to?

it says that my world of goo directory is incorrect.
As RedTheGreen said, what program are you referring to?
If the directory is incorrect, make it point at the installation directory. For my 64-bit Win7 installation, the correct folder is "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\world of goo". Yours should be in a similar location.

Or skip the (x86) if you're on a 32-bit system.
