Is gamepad based gameplay supported on Linux? If so, what controllers are supported and how do I enable it?

As far as I know, there is no official support for gamepads, Linux or otherwise.

However, there are multiple programs that allow you to control the mouse cursor with a gamepad. For Linux, QJoyPad seems quite popular. Here's a tutorial if you need help setting it up.

Also, for anyone who's wondering, Joystick-To-Mouse should work well for Windows. ControllerMate looks all right for Mac, but it's shareware.

Maybe some sort of custom GlovePIE setup would work for a non-standard gamepad.

Another Planet finally has an official release! Download chapters 1 through 3 here! Thank you for waiting so long while I kept starting over.

Thanks for the info. I'll try QJoyPad, or if it doesn't work well onugh I'll just buy a mouse Smile
