I remember me and MOM4Evr have talked with you some time ago through GooFans webchat, and it seemed that we solved the problem that day.
As far as I remember, you have to manually select a valid pers2.dat on GooTool's options tab.
The file should be in one of these paths (assuming you're using Windows 7/8):\AppData\Local\2DBoy\WorldOfGoo
C:\ProgramData\2DBoy\WorldOfGoo
C:\Users\

it seems world of goo doesnt see my profiles now even know gootool does DX
is there a way to make world of goo have C:\ProgramData\2DBoy\WorldOfGoo\pers2.dat?
Your pers2.dat automatically creates itself in C:\Users\Users Name\AppData\Local\2DBoy\WorldOfGoo . Try searching there. If you still can't find it try reinstalling World of Goo again and see if it works.
