So I see the moderation and site/boards/etc are in good hands and still kicking! How the populace doing lately? Last I remember there were a few trying to 'take over' things via useless spam posting literally EVERYWHERE. Seems that's been 'taken care of'. (lol?)

There's still spam, but there are several active mods helping with it. I think the most recent one was someone named AdultBA posting porn links.

We are getting loads of spam again, (I thought they would have finished by now?)

Don't worry, the mods will take care of it. There was one an hour ago, he's taken care of now.

Well, I for one, am still considering it. Everyone seems to like it fine, but I don't know if we want the forums filled with "HAY IT'S A PIC O MAH KAT FLUUFEH! LOLZ".

No, it's there for importing of old comments from the 2DBoy forums (which hasn't been done quite yet). I'm not totally sure if I'm ok with a big off-topic forum either, but I'll leave that up to davidc's discretion. If I see him on chat sometime, I'll ask him about it.

I, for one, can assume responsibility over my actions involving 'useless posting'. Many others can, too. The trick is balance.
It would be good comradeship and maybe a bit of entertainment to play forum games (like trivia such as 'Guess the movie' or 'Alphabet Soup' which each poster starts the next post with the next letter in the alphabet. I myself know many forum games, some of which are definitely NOT worthy to be placed on THIS forum!)
I think the concern over things not Goo related is definitely important. We as members here must maintain we are here for Goo and Goo mainly! Anything else is merely extra flavor. (One does not eat chicken soup just for the broth.)
We members must also maintain our understanding of moderation and NOT overdo things that could cause an uproar! (Hence my refraining from starting any 'strange posts'.)

I'll be honest, I hoped for some discussion on this long before now. I even waited a bit before I posted again, as you can see.
Is there anything to discuss (from my previous post)? Or was this topic basically 'dropped' and discussion was over (and somehow I missed this)?

Not a whole lot of people are posting anyhow, so I personally have just gotten over it.
