Man, I keep restarting this thing...

Anywho, I've restarted once again, taking a new direction that I think will be easier to build off of. I'll keep some of the main, long functions that are annoying to retype like the one that reads events off of XML. Other ones like the one that read input were poorly commented and difficult to change.

I'll post updates when I have any sort of usable version.

When do you think you will have one?

Not a deadline, but a estimation. I just want to know.

By the way, I'm setting it up in a way that describes depth as positive numbers, like people normally do it. I'm not sure what 2DBOY was thinking when they did it with negative numbers. Tongue

I thought 2DBoy's idea was pretty good. Positive for closer, negative for further away.

But whatever. Most other games/programs have it the other way round, as you said.

No. "depth" means how deep something is in your screen. Thus a "positive" integer would mean something further into your screen. 2DBOY's is the opposite.
