hello is that is that i haven`t any folder named 2d boy i search but y culn`t find it so y can`t put in the world of goo tools where is located mi profile
where i could find my profile?
First off, try searching for pers2.dat rather than a folder called 2dboy.
And be sure you have "Show Hidden Files and folders" turned on; this is in Windows Explorer: Tools menu->Folder Options->View tab->Show Hidden Files and Folders (In Windows 7 and Vista...I think it's similar in windows XP).
If this doesn't work, you could really help out by telling us where you got World of Goo from (Steam, the store, 2DBoy's site, etc).
Ok, so the menu may not be called Tools, but something similar. The steps are essentially the same in Windows XP, and yes, it does work.
Yes, the Alt key to show the menu works only in Windows Vista or 7 (In previous versions of Windows, it shows automatically, but Alt will select it so you can do, say Alt, then down arrow key to open the File menu).
every time i go on goo to tool it asks for my profile and when i look for it every where i still can't find it
What's the exact message?

it says GooTool couldn't automatically find world of goo. please locate WorldOfGoo.exe on the next screen.
then i look everywhere and it is not there
That's a completely different error. Where did you install WoG? It should usually be in Program Files (x86) if you have a 64-bit Windows OS.

I'm having trouble understanding you. Is GooTool not finding your profile, or did you somehow lose your profile?

Or go to the control panel->Folder Options->View->Show Hidden Files and Folders->Apply. I don't think you can use the right-click menu way in XP.
The goo is coming...RUN!

That's not right-clicking. That's the Tools menu (up in the top of the window, you may have to press Alt to show it).

Oh. don't think you can do that either.
