Title speaks by itself but I am going to explain Smile. Am I allowed to legally make a guitar cover of some world of goo music and share the sheet music?

EDIT: Changed to a better title Smile.

Hello, linuxlalala!

As far as I know, that should be totally ok. That actually is a lot like what Sebastian Wolff did with his piano cover of the music (Which can be found here), and I think 2DBoy rather liked that. Best of luck!

Thank you for linking me to a piano cover! This will help me a lot with my rather hard work, because I can listen to the music of the game played on a real instrument. BTW, I have almost finished Brave Adventurers!!!

No problem! I look forward to hearing the final version. Smile

Fantastic! I really liked it. My brother played it on flute and it was really cool. How did you even do that?

Plain luck Smile Ok, I am actually joking Smile . It took me some months to finish and it's still a work in progress Smile.

I will try to keep the scores as simple as possible, so that everyone can play it. If you find any of the scores I post unplayable, please PM me.

Looks nice! My suggestion would be to add a one-beat pickup with the eighth notes at the start, and some of the half notes should be dotted.

Well, I am glad you like it Smile!!! As I previously said, this is a work in progress, so the whole thing is progressing, (and progressing), (and progressing) until it reaches some level of "perfection". No, I am not a perfectionist, but I just want to make it resemble the original song.

I am moving to guitar pro (tuxguitar) or musescore, because I find noteflight too poor Sad.

Musescore is good as long as you don't convert back and forth to other programs too much. The formatting gradually deteriorates as you do that.

New version of brave adventurers with some bass. I still need to dot some notes and do some other things, but I promise I will finish at least three pieces. I also made a musescore group (it's called the goo balls Smile ) for everyone who likes world of goo!! (This is where you'll find my pieces when I upload them)

Wow thats a nice tune! I hoped it would last a bit longer but still awesome! Smile

By the way did anyone noticed another fan made a cover of Piece by Piece?

Thanks for commenting! Anyway, if you put a repeat, (which I think exists on the normal song), then it will last one minute and ten seconds.

An audio file of me performing the piece can be found at my blog (http://linuxlalala.blogspot.gr/p/audio-files.html)
