Multimouse on Linux (+screenshots)

Well, it took me long enough. I finally got around to trying out the multimouse stuff on Linux, and it works beautifully! There's some strange bugs/issues here and there, and I'm far from ambidextrous (Though I'm fairly good at using a mouse with either hand), but I had a lot of fun. Screenshots!
Building with both hands at once is pretty sweet. Especially in Tower of Goo.
Notice how the orange cursor is kinda blurry and faded looking. The second mouse fades out near the sides of the screen. Only the first mouse can pan the view.
Interesting bug/feature with the multimouse stuff: You can only detach one Goo Ball (like an Ivy) at a time. When the first one is detached, the detach strand for the other one vanishes, and you have to click again to detach the second one. The important exception to this is balloons (and Eyes, and I presume other Balloon-related Goo Balls). You can detach multiple balloons and eyes at a time no problem. I wonder how these are handled differently internally?
Best part: Two whistles! Now you can annoy yourself by having one whistle going the entire level while you build and do stuff with the other mouse (Provided, of course, that the one you're whistling with is the second mouse, so you can still pan around). No idea why you'd want to do that, but may help with speedruns or that sorta thing. Here you can also see that the second mouse is smaller than the first. Why? I have no idea!
You can do some fun things too. For example, picking up a Goo Ball doesn't make it un-pick-up-able, meaning that if you pick up a Goo Ball with one mouse, you can steal it from that mouse by clicking on it with the other mouse. Should make for some fun co-op stuff!
That's all I noticed right off the bat. Running multiple mice was as straightforward as following davidc's steps in the FAQ. Namely:
$ sudo kate /opt/WorldOfGoo/properties/config.txt
In my case, I'm running KDE, so I used kate. gedit, vim, or whatever else works fine, too. Set manymouse to true. You only need to do this once.
Then:
$ sudo chmod a+r /dev/input/by-id/*event-mouse
You need to do this every time you reboot or such.
Couldn't be easier, really.
(Also I know I'm not the first. Momo beat me to it by a long shot, but I figured I'd document it more in-depth)
The best part? Since I was using both hands, I had to take all these screenshots with my nose.
Bonus image with four mice!
It would be really fun to get a group of people to try to all complete a level at once with multiple mice.
-_-
It totally would! I had another kid from the neighborhood over last week, so I sat him down and we both played a few levels. Fisty's Bog was terribly fun; he was attaching far too many balloons and I was ripping them off and fussing at him as the structure kept almost getting destroyed. At the end, he was purposefully trying to destroy the structure while I was trying to keep it alive. Loads of fun. I can only imagine how insane it would be with three or four players.

So I see MOM4Evr got addicted to My Little Pony too...
I guess that's cool. Even people like Bill Gates and Markus Perrson watch it.

Oh I forgot, silly me.
Trying that...
EDIT: Cool, it worked! Gotta break some records with that.

Yeah, I would recommend NOT uploading any profiles you've used multiple mice with. Not so much that it's cheating, but it is still a really unfair advantage.
