'Wow I posted three times already' Thanks captain state the obvious lets calm down and take a chill pill. Or you can take a chill strip. It melts in your mouth, you know. Now take a look up at the top bar of World of goo editor: where is the make .goomod button? And then you might want to follow the path after it is made. Like looking for the level in your levels folder. It might provide a big clue.

WooGLE prompts you to save inside a folder, so check inside the folder you saved it to, and save to a folder you know how to find easily.
If the addin has dependency issues, it may not output a .goomod. Check the terminal and the lower left hand corner of the screen when you make the goomod.

By the way, rather than posting four comments, edit your previous comments to add stuff (at least, as long as someone hasn't posted something after those comments). Thanks.
But anyway...
Hmm... strange. Do you get any error/warning messages in WooGLE? Check the console... anything? When I click the "make goomod" button in WooGLE, it spits out a message telling me about custom resources and stuff (may or may not show up for you, it'll depend on the level), and then after I click "Yes", it opens a file browser to save the goomod to...
DaB? Any thoughts?

Because the Windows and Linux versions are being used by lots of people and this problem is not happening for them.
The list of changes and fixes since v0.75 is about 3 pages long... http://pastebin.com/AkaC4cJW
And despite the 113 recorded downloads of the Mac version, no one's ever reported this problem before.
Trouble is, I don't have a Mac, don't want a Mac, and have never used WooGLE on a Mac, so I don't know, for example, if you even get a console window.
On Windows you get a small window which sits behind the main WooGLE window, that displays diagnosic, debug and error information.
So you get anything similar with the Mac Version?
If so... try making your goomod, then see if any errors or info has appeared in the window... and if it has post it here.
In the mean time, I'll see if I can spot anything "funky".. by getting my PC to pretend it's a Mac.
well i get everything but a where would you like to save to thingy. i also have tryed searching my mac for it and its not there. if there is no "save to where" thingy there should be one

I suspect that it's hitting some funny error (only on Mac) before it asks you that question. The normal error info tells you which line in the code the error occured, so if you can find that info, it would tell me where the problem is.
I have thought of a couple of tests you could do to narrow it down though...
Start a completely new level..
Just give it a name, don't do ANYTHING else and hit "Make .Goomod"
You should get warning about "Critical: Level has exit but no pipe"... do you see that?
If you do....
Click the AutoPipe button on the "Add Items Toolbar".. then hit "Make Goomod" again.
The first error should not appear, but you should get "Addin: Child elements have issues"
Do you see that?
If you do...
Enter the ID, Author, Description and Level subtitle to fix those problems...
And Hit "Make Goomod" again..
What happens now?
it gave me no pipe errer
then 4 child elms.
i fixed them i clicked make goomod it did nothing (the teminal still said what it's doing) i seched the name (whole mac) and no results

Maybe a problem in the "Browse for File" routine?

{The level folder}/goomod/.

I'm beginning to think that the folder might be the problem...
The MAC file / folder structure is different to the PC, that and the file formats are where most of the changes came in.
I've found one thing where it looks like it might not be "MAC Friendly"...
Try this....
In the same folder as your "modded" World of Goo.app
Create a folder called res
Then a subfolder in that called levels
Then a subfolder in that called {your level name}
Now try making goomod for that level.... tell me what happens.
When you're done, go and look in that folder.. see anything?
On the Mac you can see the program's debug output using the Console app, which I believe is in /Applications/Utilities or something like that. You can just type 'console' into Spotlight anyway.

... it now says the file is corupt i got the mod made too! so close! and gootool says errer opening ziped file ??? why ???

Right... go back a bit....
The "work-around" seems to have worked... it showed the "Where do you want to save it" window..
A couple of things to check...
In the "main" level folder -> World of Goo.app/Contents/Resources/game/res/levels/{yourlevel}
You should see a new folder... goomod .. Is it there?
In there you should find addin.xml .. Is that there?
And some folders compile, override, merge.. or some of them.
Have a look in those and tell me what you find... Should be something like
compile/res/levels/{yourlevel}/{yourlevel}.level.xml
override/res/levels/{yourlevel}/{agraphicsfile}.png
Tell me everything you can find in there.
Now look at the goomod file it's created... what size is it?
It may have hit another error, if you can use the Console like davidc explained above.. then try make goomod again... maybe you will see the error info, and can tell be where the problem is.

Um... No...
There should be 2 new "goomod" folders now....
One in the folder you created...
Sounds like it is there, and has a file caled .goomod in...
can you upload the goomod file somewhere so I can take a look.
But there should be another new goomod folder deep inside the World of Goo.app
under Contents/Resources/game/res/levels/{yourlevel}
It's that I'm really interested in now... it's where WooGLE should store all the "raw" files it puts into the goomod. I want to check that it has created them all properly.
It wont let me post my goomod it says it is invalid! i realy think making an update on the mac versoin wold be AWESOME
