Stop advertising Taco, and stop talking a bunch of posts, when you can edit them, Bubblefish! Try editting them next time. Wink

bubblefish4: If you have a question about something, please post it only once. Otherwise, we have no way of knowing if the problem gets resolved or not when you post the same question in multiple places and only let us know that it got resolved in one of those places. We have no way of knowing whether you're talking about the same problem or another one if you post about it more than once.
And yes, edit your posts, please. It makes it far easier to read, and is very simple on your part to do. If your post is the last in the thread, press the "Edit" button beside it rather than making another whole post and spamming the forum. We'll help you as much as we can to solve problems/answer questions that you have, but it makes it far easier on us if you post a question with as detailed of a description of the problem as possible and wait at least a week before a reply (If no one responds in a week, we may have overlooked the post). We aren't on here 24/7 like people are on Facebook, and we can't always respond immediately, so please be patient.
And before you make a post, check around and make sure that your question isn't answered already by other posts in the past, and isn't something simple that you can find answers to in the Ball Editor or Level Editor FAQ. Thanks!

Just because one level isn't working doesn't mean you have to abandon the whole project, tacomann. If you stop now, a whole bunch of goofans will appear at your door and demand that you continue the project. Wink Seriously, it's looking great so far.
And if you send me the level (or post a link), I'd be more than happy to help you fix it. Smile

What's the level like? There are tons of common bugs...

Does it freeze on the screen saying "Product Machine (testing 1 2 3)"? If so, you're probably missing a Goo Ball.

Another Planet finally has an official release! Download chapters 1 through 3 here! Thank you for waiting so long while I kept starting over.

Well, there are heaps of things that could cause it to freeze on the title screen, AP. Wink
First up, tacomann, pop open Woogle and double-check for any red X's, and open any goos in that level in WooBLE and see if they have any problems. Export the level to a goomod- does WooGLE give any errors?

Okay, figured it out.
But now I'm more confused. I thought that WooGLE tested for this already...
In your spinning cog compositegeoms, some of the rectangles and circles had no mass, which always will crash the game. I'd recommend setting their masses to about 100 each, that way you have this giant, powerful spinning cog like you obviously imagined.
A couple things I would recommend, though:
1. Your two cogs on the right top can easily get jammed together and stop moving. I'd recommend moving them apart a little ways so that they don't actually touch. If you really want them to spin together, however, I'd recommend making the cog images separate scenelayers spinning together, and the actual killing geometry a stationary circle. Far far simpler of a setup than you have here, but I would like to see you use some cool geometry in other levels in the future (In my opinion, lots of cool geometry stuff that works together sets apart the best levels from the mediocre). Levers, traps, pulley mechanisms, it's only limited to your imagination. Wink But anyhow, change the masses of the child geometries and you should be fine.

2. Just a big personal pet peeve of mine: I hate it when the background color is too close to the color of an inactive strand (i.e. the background is light in color, or close to white). I like to stretch goos to their full extent before I attach, so I can use less moves. For me, the whitish color of the background of this level made it irritating to play.

And for your information, I only played this level in WooGLE, so my profile stats wouldn't be saved. Happy? Wink

Oh, and thanks to a small trick, this level is quite easy. But you can probably figure that out for yourself, right? Wink

No, they didn't. They said they MIGHT. I have my hopes high as well, but don't everybody take this as a definite yes. Because it's not. Wink
What they said:
Kyle Gabler wrote:
A second World of Goo is a possibility, and something we would enjoy working on. Working together again on GooPad has reminded us how fun it was to make the original. A second World of Goo will need to feel like a perfect and appropriate continuation of the first game. No Red Bull Can levels or rapping Goo cutscenes, according to our official design doc.

I guess that if they were, it would take a bit less time, but would still take at least a year. Tongue The only way I would yell out "YAYz, they make NEW GOO!" is if they said in there "We are making the second one, so there. Now I'm scared of all the goofans breaking down my door for pictures of it" Wink
