I would venture to guess more than a year. After all, Kyle is busy working on Little Inferno right now, and probably wouldn't work on a World of Goo 2 while he was doing so. Not sure.

Yea, Little Infernos burn with possibilities, but goo isn't part of that right now, right? It would be nice to see a second one, but with something that wouldn't make it feel like an old game.

Well, maybe 2D Boy will try to be the first to release a finished World of Goo 2. That means they'd have to beat NotWog2, me, TM13, Hany, and GooGooAction, and would therefore work 24 hours a day and release it tomorrow...

and then drink 100 litres of coffe and creep into the night so they can make another before it is too late....

Just make the burn time a BIG number

Not TOO big, though, ten thousand or so should be plenty. You don't want to cause integer overflow with having too big of a number. (yeah, geekspeak I know, but it could be a potential issue if you make a number bigger than 4,294,967,296 or thereabouts on a 32-bit-integer system). Keep in mind that a burntime of 10,000 seconds is over 2.7 hours, and no one in their right mind should be playing any level THAT long!
So yeah, I would recommend 10,000 or so, but don't go setting it too high, like 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000. That's just overdoing it, and it could cause potential problems.
