This is currently a beta version, just so that people can see it. All it does is add some new Goo Balls which can be used in levels.
It includes:
- Glow
- Glow Product
- Gold
- Evil
- Inferno
- UtilEarthquake
- Helium
- Ice
There is 1 screenshot.

OK, a few problems besides this... http://goofans.com/forum/world-of-goo/modding/1572
1) glow Love it! But....
3 of the images are missing... res/balls/glow/splat1 , res/balls/glow/splat2 , res/balls/glow/strand_pull
2) Helium
sound pickup uses SOUND_BALL_GLOW_SQUEAK01 -> 16
But these are not defined in the resource.xml
3) Inferno...
Same as glow : splat1,splat2 and strand_pull images are missing
And has body_burnt part used in lots of sinanims, but no part called that.

Thanks! I'll fix those. The sounds for Helium are just weird, I'm not sure how that happened, the other ones I'll create some new images for.
I read that forum post, but on the forum topic about this mod:
I think ball packs are a great idea...
so I thought it was okay.

Yeah.. well that was written before I really understood all the problems they might cause... although I obviously had some reservations even then....
I think this really sums up the feelings of many of the mods...
We're fine with "themed" packs... especially those that feature in a series of levels... our objections are really to making new balls "because you can" and releasing them hoping someone else might come up with a good idea of how to use them.

Sure, I have a "sandbox" for it that I'll release once the bugs DaB mentioned are fixed. I'm using these balls in some levels (for example, darkness levels with common_black and glow) so they do have a purpose, the other ones came from levels so they should be fine.

Albino Pokey, you realize that most of these goo balls DONT work.
i had to fix them to use them... try looking at the balls.xml in all of the balls
and FIX IT!!!

PLEASE fix these balls!! They are cool but they HAVE to be fixed (and I don't want to fix them myself) The only "good" ball the Gold ball and the only one that I "fixed" was the Inferno. The Inferno ball has no part named "body_burnt" so the animations wouldn't work, the Glow ball is missing splats, LOTS of sound effects, and it's detachstrand, the Helium.... well... I don't remember...

Yeah... well, I knew that you knew. It's just that they have to be fixed... and you can't really fix them since if you save the addin again then the balls will be back to what they were... And what is the reason for the Inferno balls? They just burn a lot longer... Glow just seems to have different graphics... Helium is like a more powerful balloon that is suckable and goos can walk on it... and Gold is also found in the Sandbox: NO LIMITS as basically the same thing. Also, what use is the Gold ball except getting shaking glitches? It does make for some hard tower building, though... But what is the use for long strands and REALLY HIGH MASS????

Here are my ideas:
1) Imagine Goosweek's "Tower in Darkness" with 2 or 3 "glow" Goo Balls; maybe even "darkness bridge building"
2) Infernos shouldn't be draggable, I must have uploaded the glitchy version...anyway, it's supposed to be attached to a fuse, fall, and ignite the structure.
3) Try building a chain upwards with the Helium
4) There's also a "Weak" ball (not included) with strands that can break...hmmm...how do you think you could do that?
I'm going to upload the sandbox or some levels soon, so don't worry.

When will you upload the pictures? And please add a description of the balls! And how close are you to fixing at least ONE of the balls? And could you upload a NEW version every time you either add a ball or fix one of the bugged ones (we want to see fixed balls VERY soon). And how close are you to making your Sandbox level?

Sure! It'll be in the next version (version 1.0 )
The glow one just glows brightly to illuminate a dark cave (hmmm...what might my next level be?), inferno can fall and ignite a structure, glowproduct is draggable, helium is like a non-grumpy walkable suckable balloon, and ice is a detachable Albino.

2. Evil goos look a lot like my MOM_EvilPilot goos I made a long time ago...hey...
(I still think mine are better, though.
I think the UtilEarthquake goo is the type that DaB used in his Gotcha! level. It makes an earthquake sound when it dies, I think.
Why do the Evil balls burn, when their strands don't? That doesn't make much sense...

The burning Evil goos is a glitch, they're not suckable so they can block off a pipe if the build close enough (their real purpose).

I finaly finished my OMEGA balls. So could you add these gooballs: BETA, DELTA, OMEGA please.
and also, keep up the good work. your going well, just make sure that you do this properly. okay. because if you make this mod wrong people will complain and it might get annoying for you. so take your time
also you should add my new gooball coming the ULTIMATE goo (its totaly awesome)

I had a part for state onfire, which is how DaB and I discovered that that caused HUGE glitches.

Guys, have YOU tried making a goomod without using Woogle or Wooble(I've tried but I don't think it going anywhere)?
But then again Albino Pokey isn't getting around to this goomod...I guess you can download the goomods containing these gooballs in it and get them that way...
