Chapters 1 through 3 are now released as a total conversion! The original levels are available through a modified version of WorldSpin used on island1.
Since this is an ENORMOUS file I'm not able to upload it here. Here's a Dropbox link for now. Sorry about this, I'll get it up as soon as possible.

If you find the electrical particle effects overwhelming, install the "electone" addin from the Archived section as well. That'll reduce the intensity a bit.
Note: this is NOT an official expansion and is not connected to the proposed "World of Goo 2."

I'm afraid I don't know how to fix your problem. I suppose I can try repacking everything, maybe it was a small error in compression or something that causes a problem only in Windows 8.1? Other than that I can't tell what it could be, as I don't have a system of that type to test it on.

Chapter 3 won't work if I just played your untouched goomod file. I have to delete "Hello World" just to play the third chapter. OH and by the way, have you joined "Goofans United collaboration yet? I'm looking for more addin authors.

I still have some ideas for mechanics, but I've mostly stopped working on WoG stuff now. If anyone wants to make a "sequel" to AP you have my blessing, but otherwise the mod is pretty much dead.

YEAH! Albino Pokey, WoG2 is really happening now, the trailer is up! It may not have launchable goo or ancient pokeys, but it's coming this year!
