i don't understand from code'e and computer lenguage's but i think it's possible to made goo cursor for linux desktop.... for windows i don't know
I have shown that compiz plugin just for the idea
some time ago i was lookin for goo cursor i did not found anything of course and when i saw this plugin immediately thought my mind for the goo cursor... so if there someone who can edit little this plugin i found only configuration file .xml but there is only setting's
will have to recomplilling the plugin for changes... i don't know just a idea

Fubbyquacker: I sincerely doubt he will post it. He's not even active on these forums. If you look at the time sig on his post, it was way back in July. I don't think he's been active since then. Just google it, and look at the earlier examples in this topic. I think some of them have code.
And yes, creating a WOG-like cursor is complicated, depending on what language and libraries you use to make it.

There's a Scratch one, which could be ported to HTML5, Java, or Flash...

I saw a cursor similar in one of the fan-made World of goo related programs in the forum, "I DECLARE WAR". One of the games in there has that same cursor.

Yeah. I think what people want is one with a trail, but a kind of receding trail, like in WoG. That would take ages to make.
