Re. vid quality, I use windows live movie maker to edit them so they're all WMV. I've just tested converting to H264 and I dont really see that much difference, but if MOM & pug think they look alright then they cant be that bad
If I compare the youtube vid (left) to the one in my computer (right) you can see a degrade in quality.
On that pic for BulletinBS, the left one doesnt have to be kicked up there, you can just swing it into the gear. I made it look like that cause I was still in the mindset of line kicking a different way, so if I accidentally overdid it and pushed too high you can see that it would arc over into that position.
I recently became a youtube partner and it has an option to improve the video, it does show a deffinate downgrade from what you upload to whats shown the user. I dont know if its a partner thing though.

Re.The MBs. I change the kbps depending on how long the vid is. So for speed records like the recent burning man, I save at 4 or 5000kbps. For long ones that take over 5 min I'd make 1 to 2000. I dont really like having to upload vids that are more than 70 or so mbs.
But anyway, like you say, you cant see that much difference when viewed in the default shrink mode, so it doesn't really matter then.
@nav, you should always check on the WOGFan site when you have ideas, most of the time you'll find that its already been thought of.

You'll notice I use a more elaborate way for the line kick, it makes it easier to perform.

I use fraps for most of them, it depends if there's any slowdown. Like for welcoming unit I had to use camtasia, same for incin. Fraps saves at huge sizes, the vid for divide was over 5gig, so I edit them in windowsLMM and get a more manageable size. I dont select any codecs.
Kopa has a vid showing the way to do it, but he only gets 33, and wastes a ball to reach the pipe.
The faster you are to catch them the more you'll get.
I saw Pavke's video of 19 moves on grape vine virus and (I think) it maybe possible to get more than 19 goos on it.Also i'm doubting you can get more than 43 balls on AB3 by make the pilot going to the pipe (for that take a pilot ball shoot it in the water take a block and make the pilot ball stand on it).Not having much luke but still trying.
I wasn't expecting to set this record. I was just trying improve my time, had a look on gootool to see I'd done 23! (25 was the record) The curse of not recording strikes again.
I couldn't just leave it without a vid so I was forced into breaking my own record, and break it I did, a further 7 sec. Total of 9 faster than Pavke's.
Also, with this record, the overall least time goes under 12 minutes to 11:52. (see WOGFan charts)

Well I've been I'll over the past week or so, so I haven't really thought about WOG. Now I'm ok again I've had a go today at certain things, mainly the shaking bug on the fuse goos and the goo hanging from the top of the shaft. Best I could do is this.
You'll need to find a way to do this at just above the height of the cutting blades which is the problem though. Also Not sure if the bomb will explode without the fuse goo.
I tried using the shaking bug on the hanging gooat the top and get it trapped in the cage and I couldnt get the line to snap even with a glitched ball and hitting it down at the same time
In the mean while you could take a look at whistler, something tells me theres still goos to collect on that level. I was looking at a method of lifting the whistle to a verticle position to get a few goos off, managed it a few times too. This was back when I was playing WOG.
I'm not fully sure what that screenshots supposed to show, which part is meant to touch the blade? If you can be committed enough I think you should try and set that record, I'm not overly keen on it if its going to be a real hassle.
Ahh Whistler, my arch nemesis. Only just yesterday I managed to get more than 30, for the first time I got it to sit flat in the gap, and even then I could only get 33. Pavke really set the bar high with 38!
I once had a go at pushing it up vertical, the trouble would be the pipe gripping on to the bottom so it cant touch the wall. And then how would you stop everything falling and dieing.
I was thinking of trying a new time record by snapping it off.
I'll have a go at upper shaft 1 move (if successful i'll try it in 0 moves) and grates on HTIC and whislter .Ohh and i'm wondering whether 6 move is possible on OOS.Peter's 0 move on hello world made me think like that.I might give it a try and leave it for the night.
If it falls at a diagonal you can hit it flat from underneath you may kill a ball but you should be able to collect more than 33 goos (Thats how I did 37 a few times).

Yes its hard.The black goos have more weight than the common and ivy goo and if you do with a balloon there is chance you might attach it to the wheel.
Navi, I tried all sorts including that and it's a no go I'm afraid. I'll keep thinking about it though.
There is a bug on whistler which lets you get past the pipe if you manage to get a goo to stick underneath the whistle whilst its at a diagonal you can blow the whistle and it will lift up by itself. I'll see if I can make a video about it but I do have a strategy for more goos in minds.
Also why is no one trying to get the square structure below the face in burning man now you can tilt it vertically. Thats an extra goo at least more if you take it to the side. If only I could speed click lol Instead I have to rely on a macro on my mouse

68.5 is pretty decent for that good quality. You use Fraps for this? Do you use a specific codec with specific settings?

No more goos can be got on those two levels. On grape you need to use 4 to make a line, so 19 left. And in AB3 the pipe only accepts Hex's.
