I really made it to be just enough to see how the base looks ^^
Please tell me if you think it's strong and if there is something I should change.

You have the right idea. You should keep building upward and support itself on itself, by removing balls in the center to make pillars lean on each other.

Yes, look at the bottom, i made 2 holes that will eventually fit when enough weight is put on it. I also compressed whole thing alot.
My record with that structure was 32 meters and then fall:

Looks like a good start for a base there, bigdanger. The key with building taller towers is how straight you continue to build it, so I'd recommend backing up your profile as you go along. And then we'll need to get the site fixed so we can actually upload the towers...

Btw, this tower on this video is no longer existing, it went up to 31 meter, and then I made a stupid mistake and it all fell down

Before I was to send a hacked tower of 48 meters.
I made a copy of the game and in that copy I changed the values of gravity to 0.0(or 0.9, i don´t remember)
and then i put the goo tool and then i made a big tower about a line of goos.
But I didn´t send it because i thought about the cheater badge.

That´s a very stable base
If you are lucky, with that base, you can do a Huge tower! ^^
