WoG inspired Platform Game Prototype

Watch this idea for a simple platform game with the Goo Ball as a main character. Game needs some monsters, spikes and a target, but the main engine is finnished. The ball can jump, run, stick to the verticl wall...

As far as the original game goes, there's actually only 1 Pokey! That's why it's lonely
Anyway, this game concept sounds awesome! I'm also making a Goo-based game called GooFling, where you have to launch a Goo Ball to an exit by using this really cool control! (look on Emanuele Feronato's site for "elasticity," that's where I got the basis of the 'elastic' control from.)

If you look at the old topic enlisted "I DECLARE WAR" you will find some inspiration for games and levels. (just be sure not to steal!)
One fo them is something called "Goo FIST" where you go ahead and break some wood.

Maybe you could add a Pipe, where you need to go, or some Other chars, you can choose, (or maybe npc, you can talk with?!?)

PS:
err... Make Levels with thousands of Pokeys, include this levle into your game and you'll have 1001 Pokeys
AP: actually, 2 levels: Third Wheel and Water Lock.

No, only 1. It can't get into the pipe, so how do you know it didn't climb out of The Third Wheel and into Water Lock?

Pokey appeared. Now it's not very dangerouse, but looks beautifull...
And shows spikes when you are too close!

Sure, I can help with that! Plus, if you have some sort of 'bouncing' I have a really good AS2 physics engine that can calculate the angle of the surface, angle of incidence, and angle of refraction.

I can come up with ideas for enemies, items, etc. and maybe 2 player compatibility!
(This depends on what code it is written in)

1. I'm creating WoGIPG in Game Maker 8.0 Pro, like External Vector Sandbox (my best phisics ever!)
2. There will be more enemies. Pokey1 is the basic, another will be more intelligent.

I'd help you, too!!! I could give you some ideas for levels (I'm 13 so... the most peaple say, the childs have got the most fantasy ^^)

EDIT: could it be possible to downloade the Game somwhere, so we could try it out, and help you this way, too?
Three new dangers! And now Goo can die!
1. Bone - that moves fast towards Goo, when it's at the same height.
2. Gear - that stays in place (spikes).
3. Blue Pokey - that moves like normal poke, but sometimes moves faster towards Goo.

It's good idea to publish it somewhere. But where? I have to register at another site and there will be "a lot of" accounts... Or it's idea to publish prothothype at goofans with special admin's premission. (Finnished game will be at goofans, of corse)

yes, maybe you could publish it here, as a Beta-tester version...
and... i think it doesnt looks that goo-d, if you make very much little gears exept of spikes... it think the gears would be better, if they would be alone, and big, or better, some big and some little together... that would be really cool and the best would be, if they would move together!!!
The problem is, I want to create level editor for this game, to help goofans designing this game with me. Game Maker always stores levels and everything in one file, but I want levels stored in external files. One-size gears are easier to make for level code....
But I will try with 4-direction spikes, and gear, that will be created automaticaly (when wall is up spike object - it turns to down spikes, when is at left - turn to right spikes, when there is no wall - turn to gear etc.)
I need only to adapt WoG spikes to 32x32 size...
