AP: Umm, you shouldn't put my email in there, since I used my email to purchase my copy. You should put in your email that you redeemed it with. Humble Bundle has that email linked to your key page, which is, I'm presuming, how Tomorrow Corporation will figure out who you are to give you the beta.

puggsoy: As for ruining it, it's really your call, I guess. May be a good idea to get on IRC and ask/nag davidc about the current state of the game. He told me yesterday that he finished it. From what I gather, it's a fairly complete game, since they're at the beta-testing stage already. David did say the ending was pretty moving, so I'd imagine they have cutscenes and a lot of polish work done already, if the game isn't completely done. Ultimately, it's your call I reckon. I personally love breaking games and finding bugs, so I'm all in.

Yeah, I figured that if they're doing this beta it will be pretty much complete. Most bugs should be minor anyway, and mostly gameplay-related, this is just to double-check for anything they might have missed. In any case I'm not expecting it to be noticeably broken story/spoiler-wise.

I haven't actually done beta testing of a game before (at least not one this big), but I do think it'd be fun to play the game and be like "ooh that's stuffed better tell them". Either way getting to play the game earlier than most is just cool

Has anyone gotten an email yet, because I signed up for the beta but I'm unsure which email to use: humble bundle or email used to buy the game. I know which email is the "thank you for preordering" one, but that one is from humble bundle.

The email account that you got your download link from should be the email you use. I'm not completely sure what you're asking, momo.

I'd assume it was DavidC, since he's at the top of the GooFans Team list, so he must have edited or posted something more recently than MOM4Evr, Puggsoy, or any other mods. But I haven't seen anything by him marked as "unread" since one of MOM4Evr's posts...

Although it could have been somebody else, and David just decided to make the image work. Images don't automatically show up for moderators, there's a little toggle on each post that controls how much HTML is allowed. If it's set to FULL, the <img /> tag works.

Considering David just showed me that exact same image on IRC a few hours before that post, I'd say it's him. He also has played the entire game and seems to like Sugar Plumps as a character, so I wouldn't be surprised.
