Since we've been talking about it in other threads, I've added the suggestion that mods can access the Edit tab on other peoples' accounts. That way we can do stuff like temp banning, which may be necessary in the future, and will help enforce rules, since we can't megaban established members. I'll add it to mantis too.

By the way, if we also get the ability to change usernames, the user should receive an email which has their new username in it.

I think that's the default for Drupal, but I'll check.

Also, if we have edit access, we should be allowed to change our email address. I made my account before I got my AlbinoPokey address, and I'd like to switch it.

Yah think? Orright. Another forum seemed to handle it pretty well, but then again they had stuff like rep and post numbers, so it was still relatively easy to notice somebody who changed their name.

Mods can reopen topics. To post, I think they would have to re-open it and close it again after posting.

Although there isn't much reason to post in a locked topic...

If it's manually locked, we would need to unlock and relock it.

But if it expires (because nobody posts), the comment box is there as normal. Posting is the only way to unlock it.

My suggestion:

Manual upload of backups so you can backup your pers2.dat instead of using GooTool (if it crashes, if your system has crashed and you can't use GooTool but you can use a boot cd to backup your pers2.dat, etc.).
Like on leaderboards (however you can't use them).
