You should convert these games to flash. (Unless you have a application that can run Windows .exe files i.e. boxer for your mac, you can't play em')

Well, James, you don't understand that Kyle made these games...
He programs in Windows, and since they're still experimental, he didn't go through the time to port them.
Sat, 03/06/2010 - 16:09
I KNOW that KYLE made the games on WINDOWS, (cause mac kinda sucks, Windows runs these games ^^) I'm just saying it WOULD be cool if they came in FLASH also...

My Mistake

Hey, I recently got the "Robot and the cities that built him" flash for this package! ^^
One problem: When I boot it up, the game says "Error in connecting to Robot computer" (This also happens when you try to play the game on the net using proxys.)
WTF DOES IT MEAN!?!

Kyle mate, did it occur to you that us Macintosh users have been left out with this package you put together?.
Unless I've missed a page where you have it posted.
So if you haven't considered us Mac users, any chance you can post the package in App format, or dmg, which ever works mate
Cheers.

Um... you may want to e-mail to kyle if you have a question for him. However, most of his projects were on windows, so they were made for windows and not much else. A port for these games, though, have been requested infinitely. I'm not sure who can do that, however...

Norton reports a virus...

Check the posts, man. They get deleted because Norton detected a weird file it thought was a Trojan Horse. Most Experimental games have that problem. Unfortunatly, if this happens, you won't be able to play the game because Norton erases it all-together.

By the way, Pavke is a moderator here, and that involves not being someone who posts viruses. Besides, this package has been up for a really long time, and would have been removed quickly if it was a virus.
You have Norton? Seriously? Norton is a worthless piece of trash. Avast! (A FREE antivirus program) is way better and gets better reviews in Consumer Reports and such.
And yes, if you check the posts above(EDIT: I thought... Where were those posts anyway?), you'll see that I also had trouble with Avast! thinking that this package was a virus. It's not.

@Nalar
No, it doesn't have a virus!!
First, I don't know how to make a virus,
second, even if I knew, I'm not that evil to put it up here and destroy lovely goofans.
It is a fakealert. Antivirus makes fake alerts many times, programs are not perfect.
You can go to http://experimentalgameplay.com/blog/games/ were Kyle Gabler himself uploaded these games, look under "Original EGP 1.0 Games" title
Antivirus will report you have a virus even if you download them from there because it's a fake alert.
Your post will be removed/edited so it confuse people....

What is this exactly? The level it's not... How to open it after download?
Sun, 05/15/2011 - 09:59
It's not a World of Gooo level. It's a package of experimental games by Kyle Gabler.
Extract the downloaded zip-files and double click the exe files to play.

Ok, got it! Do you know how can I put in the addin pages something else than level like Pavke did over here?
Tue, 06/21/2011 - 04:43
You can if you have premission form davidc. There must be a reason to publish here something other than goomod file.

Long time ago, this very set of games thought me a lesson. For a game to be great it doesn't need to be fancy or elaborate, all it needs to be is fun.
Thank You Mr.Gabler

No new Experimental games lately? What a shame
I found the Sunshine quite tricky when I played it. The growing plant for me just went Wibbly Wobbly
Sat, 06/03/2017 - 21:15
Is Sunshine still in experimental stage now that it's 2017?

Man, they are beautiful! I'm really into this artstyle, it's amazing. Man, don't you want to do some etnical based-games like Mooseman ( https://rawg.io/games/the-mooseman ). It's great background for your works. Thank you.
