When I said that tower design could be record breaking, I meant it. I once said that I thought 56m was possible, and now I've managed it, with a 56.058 (see leaderboard). I now reckon that 57 could be done with a few refinements to the design.
Achieving this new record is all down to the pre-rush starting height, which is a staggering 43.3! 2 metres taller than the previous one.
This is the first time I've managed to use all 300 balls. Another first is that I got the event on video -

I noticed I can't find levels to get my goo counts up. I've been trying infesty and blustery day but no luck.
I see what you mean; you've got good scores on most of them. I suppose you'll just have to keep trying the ones where you're 4 or more balls off the record. Like Drool, Blustery day, whistler, tentacle, burning man, SHS, misty, infesty, vane. Also, you should be able to max graceful failure.

Yes the roof one. Theres only a way to get it off from the anchor and that is by making an ivy stuck on place. Sadly I was trying this for a long time and my hand started to hurt as it didn't speed-clicked. I know ivy can be speed clicked, I saw it while doing the max goo of third wheel. It's power is same as a bone or balloon. The problem is to get speed-clicked.

You should try SHS faster, I got 8 second on it by doing the OCD method of trowing the goo on the hand.

I made a new tower and set a new record, with a 56.882. While its not 57, I think its as good as, and I've had enough of trying. I'll go higher when nav beats it.
I think this new design is the best one. Its got a 43.78 pre-rush starting height!

Wow 2 new tower in just 2 days which has passed 55 meters! The structure is stable but It leans to much when it reaches 30 meters for me, and all my strands were same. I don't think I can get to 55 meter, let alone 50. I don't understand why DaB couldn't get 50 with his tower.
One more thing, do you intentionally make the starting point of the final rush a bit bend? I saw it in your 3 towers and also in bucks 51 meter tower

Any tower that goes 30+ meters is always going to start leaning and will need constant kicking to keep straight. I wouldnt have thought it'd be a problem for you.

He made that tower near to the end of his time on goofans. So I think he just wanted to get one on the leaderboard before he left and wasnt too fussed about the height.

Yes, its so you can build up in a straight line; you wouldnt want to start on a flat surface. Every top 10 towers like that (even yours) except DaB's. His tower must've been leaning at an angle before the rush so had to compensate for it.

Whacking is a bit hard for me again as I didn't play for a few days. It's okay now but my tower leans too much. Counter-weights doesn't help me much even. But I'm sure I can fix it somehow.

Haha, that's too plain cool to mark as cheater. It's a fairly old profile, with no Goofans user attached, so I'd say it's not a big deal. I don't think the profile is doing any harm, so it's prolly ok.

Wow that list you made must have taken a lot of time. I didn't think of looking into Marius's profile closely enough, and not even Cycle4mate or Jairo (though I knew they were very good players). Jairo,Marius and Cycle4mate made many records with their names, I don't think you will need their username to update Wogfan. And I didn't post any message to anyone, I just found it out by myself.
None of those three profiles have a goofans user linked to them, either.
A lot of profiles were imported from Soultaker's site a while back, and thus there's no goofans user with that profile (Since those people never were actually on goofans). I don't think it's currently possible to upload a profile without having an account here.

Here's something strange I've found. There's a player called 0001 that has a profile with the time for SHS as 6 seconds. Thats 2 faster than mine! What do you think of that?

I don't think it's possible for someone do it in 6 seconds, I thought 7 was the least. Also 0001 isn't a speed-type person, you can see he completed the levels very slowly. Also, why isn't kopa in the wogfan team on the YouTube Chanel or the site? He was a part of the wogfan and has a few records.

Ode 7 move is definitely possible also, peter gave the strat to me to do it but I need to practice whacking again and i'm busy getting the last 6 goos till I reach 1500. Hopefully in 3-4 days I can achieve it and go back to moves and time.
No you need another balloon to detach it, its impossible to get all the goos in HTIC.

@mygod, Congrates on your new tower and badge! It looks stable as peter said it. Have you tried counter weights or whacking the structure? That should make it steady for a few seconds and you can build higher.
@MOM, Don't worry, Only peter has 6 badges and he needs to be a mod to get be the same as you, other have mostly 3-5.

I'd guess it's the dampening="0.1" (a forcefield with a high dampeningfactor can give you a similar glitch) combined with the lower mass.

Haha, that's too plain cool to mark as cheater. It's a fairly old profile, with no Goofans user attached, so I'd say it's not a big deal. I don't think the profile is doing any harm, so it's prolly ok.

Wow that list you made must have taken a lot of time. I didn't think of looking into Marius's profile closely enough, and not even Cycle4mate or Jairo (though I knew they were very good players). Jairo,Marius and Cycle4mate made many records with their names, I don't think you will need their username to update Wogfan. And I didn't post any message to anyone, I just found it out by myself.

None of those three profiles have a goofans user linked to them, either.
A lot of profiles were imported from Soultaker's site a while back, and thus there's no goofans user with that profile (Since those people never were actually on goofans). I don't think it's currently possible to upload a profile without having an account here.

Yes, it did take a while. I checked all the names I recognised, plus some of the other high ball count scorers like ron. That one was a lucky find.

Here's something strange I've found. There's a player called 0001 that has a profile with the time for SHS as 6 seconds. Thats 2 faster than mine! What do you think of that?
I dont suppose this one has a user either MOM?
If profiles were imported from another site, then they might not be accurate. Wont the dates just be for when they were ported over?
I don't think it's possible for someone do it in 6 seconds, I thought 7 was the least. Also 0001 isn't a speed-type person, you can see he completed the levels very slowly. Also, why isn't kopa in the wogfan team on the YouTube Chanel or the site? He was a part of the wogfan and has a few records.

I dunno; that profile has a lot of Goo Balls collected, too. I was under the impression that you needed a screenshot or video to claim a new record, anyway, so I'd say just ignore that profile. There's no Goofans user attached.
All these people building new towers has got me worried that I'll be knocked out of the top 50, and then I'll no longer have more badges than anyone else.
Ah, well. I haven't been playing World of Goo to keep up, so I'll just get what's coming.

Ode 7 move is definitely possible also, peter gave the strat to me to do it but I need to practice whacking again and i'm busy getting the last 6 goos till I reach 1500. Hopefully in 3-4 days I can achieve it and go back to moves and time.
No you need another balloon to detach it, its impossible to get all the goos in HTIC.
Peter,For some reason everyone is challenging you to beat your records. Why cant they try beat my 11 move record of ToG and get 8 on it?
@mygod, Congrates on your new tower and badge! It looks stable as peter said it. Have you tried counter weights or whacking the structure? That should make it steady for a few seconds and you can build higher.
@MOM, Don't worry, Only peter has 6 badges and he needs to be a mod to get be the same as you, other have mostly 3-5.

I'm gonna play a bit more wog. I was trying to tool assist fly away little ones.
As for the records your asking the wrong person I got into wog late and didnt join the community till later, sorry guys. I think I did set water lock 0 move though.

I'm still not keen on fly away; maybe weed'll get it done. Same goes for ode.
You should be happy no ones interested; at least you'll keep the record.
