Uhm, still had 1.7.5, I guess. But it works fine with 2.0, of course.

inwog, STOP!!!
There are 25 levels!!! Only 30 can be installed by GooTool (additional buttons or titles will escape throught the edge of scene in island1).
Or... you could do something like I have done in Experimental Level Project (but in chapter 3 will be better here).

Yeah, I was planning to, but I don't know how to, but Goosweek, how do you transfer your Experimental Levels to Chapter 5. See this forum.
EDIT: Chapter 3's Map is too small, or maybe I can use that.
EDIT 2: Never Mind, I just split into 2 Parts, one for the old ones, and one for the newer ones.

Your level pack is very big and cool!
If you give me all the sign painter messages and level names i will translate them to spanish, google translation sucks
PD: I speak spanish and know a lot of english. I play WoG in spanish, special thanks to Goo Tool hahaha.
PD2: 'The Sign painter' means 'El escritor de carteles', but in spanish is knowned as 'El que escribe los carteles'
EDIT:
Here are the names of the first 12 levels.
1.-Tierras ideales
2.-Cruce inclinado
3.-Cadena en la cueva
4.-Colinas Azules
5.-Agitando al bicho amoroso
6.-Fusibles de la luz
7.-Hielo congelado del futuro
8.-Creciendo contra el tiempo
9.-Puesta de sol
10.-Las leyendas del rojo y el blanco
11.-Unidad de soportaje del agua
12.-Oscuridad en la fábrica negra

So in Spanish, the Sign Painter is "The one who writes the signs"? Using a substantive?

This posy might be pretty old....But still....How did you add the levels to the main chapter? I mean what was the difference in the island1.xml.bin? I want something comfortable ( a little space that has my levels in it) Can you please tell me how to do it? I already created a test custom chapter, but this seems different...
Because writing signatures is too mainstream
Fri, 07/06/2012 - 15:48
I just override the levels in island1.xml.bin. I didn't make a custom chapter, and it doesn't affect to the custom levels space.
And if you want to make this kind of sequence go to this forum:
http://goofans.com/forum/world-of-goo/modding/1013
This is a very old trend of mine showing how to override levels in the main chapters.

Umm, that's precisely the WRONG way to do it.
If you're going to make changes to island1, merge them in, unless you have a good reason to do otherwise.

But still, just changing the scene.xml in the island1 folder and adding some levels with xsl will give you something like this addin right?
Because writing signatures is too mainstream
Fri, 07/06/2012 - 17:32
Yes. It also likely won't be published, as we'll prefer you to merge your scene.xml changes also, unless you have a reason for not doing so.

Wait.....Oh yeah.....That is easier too...Since there as the xml difference tool! Easy as goo pie! So that xsl will go into "merge/levels/island1/scene.xml.xsl"?
EDIT: I WAS WRONG. This isn't easy as goo pie! It is pretty hard. WASTED AN HOUR ON GETTING 1 LEVEL AND FAILED!
Because writing signatures is too mainstream
Sat, 07/07/2012 - 08:33
Hee, hee. Well, it is fairly easy if you know what you're doing. Just clone island1, add your buttons, making sure you name them properly, save, decrypt the .bin, open up the XML, make sure it's named properly, decrypt the original island1.scene.xml, make yor xsl using the diff tool, then make a copy of res/islands/island1.xml (after decrypting that), add your level at the end, xsl diff on both of them, then add the proper strings in your goomod's text.xml. A bunch of steps, but only a couple more than compiling instead of merging.

Yes, i tried that.....Must have gotten a little typo..
Because writing signatures is too mainstream
Sat, 07/07/2012 - 13:33
HM, I had a quick look at this addin. There is nothing but some images in the override/.../Drool folder. Why are they there?
The islands.scene.xml are merged properly.
Just adding stuff to an existing xml file in the game with merging is the easiest exercise with xsl.
You need only two little commands in there.
First the standard copy everything not matched by another rule stuff.
And second a command to add everything you want to add to the scene.xml.bin
So it's just decrypting your island#.scene.xml.bin, copy everything and paste it in the xsl file. Save. You're done. Easy as goo pie

Ok! i will try this later! im too lazy right now..

Sat, 07/07/2012 - 14:20
Are they the main_01 and main_03 images which mirror 2 and 4? Those seem to keep propagating through addins when they're mistaken for originals.

I think to use XML Diff tool and improve the XSL is the easiest and the best way to generate a XSL.
For example, I generated a XSL with XML Diff tool to make Island 1 Infinite here:
scene[1]
: Because there is only onescene
element, you can remove the [1].SceneLayer[46]
: This kind of code is not good. You can just find out the 46th SceneLayer and change SceneLayer[46] to make it find specific attribute likeSceneLayer[@name='bg']
and this one will be much better. Here is the XSL after improving which I think is as good as you write it by yourself:
